About Leo Stearns
I'm a degreed electrical engineer with about 30 years experience in engineering design and management. I have extensive experience designing and manufacturing complex electronic systems in several industries as well as experience designing and fabricating some pretty extreme structures for the entertainment industry.
In my younger years, I spent a good deal of time customizing and racing cars. The El Camino project is my first major automotive project in almost 20 years.
Recently I was founder and CEO of a large-scale video display company (think Jumbotron). These displays utilize direct view LEDs for the display elements. During this period, I developed a deep understanding of LEDs, and color theory.
